I work in private healthcare – am I eligible for a First Responders discount?

Answers whether private healthcare workers are eligible for Huel's First Responders discount, and which Huel discount schemes may apply instead.

Written by Jamie Forbes

Private healthcare workers are not eligible for Huel's First Responders discount. The First Responders discount is available only to verified emergency service professionals — such as paramedics, police officers, and firefighters — whose roles are confirmed through Beans iD, Huel's third-party eligibility verification partner.

Why private healthcare roles don't qualify

Verification for the First Responders discount is handled by Beans iD and is tied specifically to emergency response roles. Beans iD requires official proof of employment in an eligible emergency service category. Private healthcare employment does not fall within the eligible categories recognised by Beans iD.

If you are an NHS employee rather than a private healthcare worker, you may be eligible for the NHS Discount instead.

Huel discount schemes you may qualify for

If the First Responders discount doesn't apply to you, check whether you're eligible for one of Huel's other discount schemes:
