To receive a student discount, you'll need to verify your status through Student Beans.
What documentation Student Beans typically accepts
When signing up, Student Beans will usually ask for one of the following:
A valid student email address (e.g. @uni-example.ac.uk or @student.ac.uk) — often the quickest way to verify
Student ID card — as a photo upload (must show your name, school/university, and valid dates)
Acceptance letter — proof of acceptance to a recognised institution
Enrolment letter — official proof from your school or university that you're currently enrolled
Student Beans Decides What's Acceptable
Student Beans reviews and approves your documentation — not Huel. If you're uncertain whether your documents will be accepted, or if Student Beans has asked for different documentation:
Contact Student Beans:
Help Centre: https://help.studentbeans.com/hc/en-us
Email: help@studentbeans.com
Huel cannot override Student Beans' document requirements or accept alternative documentation.
Important to know
Student Beans' eligibility decision is final. Once verified, you'll be issued a unique discount code that you can use on Huel orders immediately.
If Student Beans declines your application, Huel cannot issue a student discount code directly — Student Beans makes the final eligibility decision. You may be able to appeal or reapply through Student Beans directly.
