Revenue centres split the revenue from your offerings into separate categories, based on how you've set them up. This helps you report on revenue accurately and, if you use a PMS integration, ensures revenue posts to the correct place.
Viewing your revenue centres
Go to Settings > Site > Revenue centres. This page has two sections:
1. Revenue centres — a list of all revenue centres on your site. Trybe sets up the following defaults: Beverage, Food & Beverage, Food, Spa Treatments, Spa Retail, Spa Laundry, Course, Vouchers, and Other as shown as an example below:
2. Tax configurations — The tax rates that can be applied to your revenue centres. These taxes are configured during the onboarding process and depend on your site’s location and country.
Please note: If any updates need to be made to your tax rates through the Tax configuration section, you can either contact your Onboarding agent or our Support Team with the correct tax rate for each one and we will have a look into this for you.
Creating a revenue centre
You can create your own revenue centres in addition to the defaults by going to:
Settings > Site > Revenue centres
Click Add revenue centre
Enter a Name and apply the Tax configuration that should be used for this revenue centre > then click Add:
Important: If you have a PMS integration with Opera FIAS, please contact us whenever you create a new revenue centre and let us know the corresponding code it should post to in your PMS. Without this, revenue for the new centre can't be posted correctly.
Editing and deleting revenue centres
What you can do with a revenue centre depends on whether it has the "Required" tag:
With the "Required" tag — these cannot be deleted, as they're needed for Trybe's integration system to work. They can still be edited by the Trybe team — contact your Onboarding agent or Trybe Support if you’d like to make any changes, including the reason for the requested change.
Without the "Required" tag — you can edit or delete these yourself. Click the three dots next to it and select either Edit or Delete:

Changes to a revenue centre's tax configuration apply to future orders only — past orders will not be retrospectively updated.
⚠️ Before deleting a revenue centre
PLEASE NOTE: Before deleting a revenue centre, ensure that you review every offering assigned to it and move those offerings to another revenue centre first. This will help prevent issues with future revenue postings.
Revenue centres that can't/shouldn't be deleted
Some revenue centres are configured behind the scenes to behave in specific ways, and deleting them would stop Trybe posting certain revenue to your integrations:
Goodwill, Overpayment, and Spa Treatment — these are configured in the background to behave in a certain way. We strongly recommend against deleting them.
Memberships, Course Redemption, and Vouchers — these are system revenue centres. For example, all membership payments are automatically associated with the Memberships revenue centre.
If you have a PMS integration, such as Guestline or Opera, some revenue centres are used to post revenue to your PMS. Therefore, certain revenue centres cannot be deleted, as they are configured to work in specific ways behind the scenes when an integration is in place. Deleting these revenue centres could prevent Trybe from posting certain revenue correctly to your integrated PMS.
Assigning revenue centres to offerings
Once your revenue centres are set up, you can assign them to your offerings by heading to:
Settings > Offerings > Appointment types / Session types / Packages / Area booking types.
Click on the desired offering, or click on the three dots next to it and select Edit.
Scroll to Revenue centre and choose one from the dropdown menu.
Don't forget to click Save at the bottom right of the page to save your changes.
If you have an integration with a PMS such as Guestline or Opera, these revenue centres will be used to post revenue to your PMS system.
Revenue centres in reports
You can find some reports that display the revenue centres. To access the reports head to Reports and look for the Sales section:
