How do I work with Sites in Trackunit Manager?

Sites will give you an up-to-the-minute view of asset location, enabling you to complete projects faster and more efficiently.

Sites let you define and name the locations your assets operate from such as construction sites, and depots.

Once set up, you get a real-time view of which assets are where and historical reporting to track fleet utilization across locations. Sites also form the foundation for location-based alerts like Site-based theft alert and logistics tracking

Use Sites to:

  • Monitor which assets are on-site or missing from a location

  • Track asset arrivals and departures across depots and job sites

  • Set up Site-based theft and logistics alerts

  • Report on fleet utilization per location over time

Types of Sites you can create:

  • Construction site: A temporary site where structures, buildings, or roads are constructed, as well as where existing structures may be demolished, renovated, or expanded

  • Depot: A storage facility for assets while they are not in use. Use this type of site for asset depots, rental yards, and rental branches

  • Workplace: A permanent site where assets are used daily, such as warehouses or factories

  • Area: Covers any other type of sites and should be used only for creating basic alerts
