To verify your domain, you need to add a TXT record with your DNS provider. If your domain is hosted with us at Miss Hosting, we are happy to assist you with this!
Here's how to obtain your TXT record:
Log in to the ID Protection portal
Click on the green box as shown in the image below.
(Clicking the green box will automatically take you to the "Settings" page.)
Click on "Verify"
Under the "Settings" tab, you'll find a section called "Domains." Click on "Verify" to initiate the verification process.
Retrieve your DNS TXT record
Option 1: Verify your domain via email
Select the email address you wish to use for verification from the dropdown menu and follow the instructions in the email.Option 2: Add a TXT record manually
Scroll down the page. Copy the TXT code found under number 4 and the subheading "value." Add this TXT code to your DNS configuration. This record is unique to your domain!
You can copy this record and send it to us at support@misshosting.com for assistance, or add it yourself to your DNS configuration following the instructions provided in the ID portal.
