When you sell Egyptian stocks, sale proceeds normally settle after T+2 working days before they can be withdrawn. Instant settlement lets you convert eligible unsettled balance into withdrawable settled balance immediately for a small fee.
Eligibility
Instant Settlement is available for eligible unsettled proceeds from Egyptian stock sales.
The amount displayed as eligible in the app is the amount currently available for Instant Settlement.
When Does “Settle Now” Appear?
The Settle Now option appears during the withdrawal process when eligible unsettled Egyptian stock proceeds are available and the amount meets the minimum EGP 300 threshold.
The option may not appear when:
There are no unsettled proceeds from eligible Egyptian stock sales.
The eligible unsettled amount is below EGP 300.
The sell order has not yet been executed.
What You See Before Confirming
Before confirming Instant Settlement, the app shows:
The eligible unsettled amount.
The Instant Settlement fee.
The amount that will become settled.
A confirmation step before the service is applied.
Review these details before confirming, as Instant Settlement cannot be reversed.
Can Instant Settlement Be Cancelled?
Once Instant Settlement is confirmed, the transaction cannot be reversed or cancelled.
If the withdrawal request is cancelled after settlement, the proceeds remain as settled cash in the Thndr wallet. The Instant Settlement fee is not refunded.

If you don’t see Settle Now, possible reasons include:
No eligible unsettled Egyptian market proceeds available
Amount is below the minimum EGP 300 threshold
Standard Settlement and Instant Settlement Example
Suppose a sell order is executed on Sunday.
Under standard settlement, the sale proceeds would normally settle on Tuesday, assuming Monday and Tuesday are business days.
With Instant Settlement, eligible proceeds can become settled before Tuesday, subject to the applicable fee.
The settled cash can then be used to submit a withdrawal request.
How Instant Settlement Fees are Calculated
The Instant Settlement fee is 0.3% of the amount being settled, subject to a minimum fee of EGP 5.
For example, if you instantly settle EGP 10,000 worth of unsettled shares, only EGP 9,970 becomes available for withdrawal.
0.3% (fee percentage) x EGP10,000 (unsettled share sale) = EGP 30 (fee)
The fee would be EGP 30, and EGP 9,970 would become immediately available for withdrawal.
However, when 0.3% of the settlement amount is less than EGP 5, the minimum EGP 5 fee applies.
For example, if you instantly settle EGP 300:
0.3% of EGP 300 is EGP 0.90.
Because this is below the minimum fee, the applicable fee is EGP 5.
The app displays the applicable fee before you confirm Instant Settlement.
Instant Settlement and Withdrawal Timelines
Instant Settlement and withdrawal processing are two separate steps.
Instant Settlement converts eligible unsettled sale proceeds into settled cash immediately. This means the cash becomes available to use for a withdrawal request without waiting for the standard T+2 settlement period.
The withdrawal itself is then processed according to the timeline of the selected withdrawal method. Instant Settlement does not make the external bank or e-wallet transfer instant. See How to Withdraw From Your Thndr Wallet.
