Futures Prime Platforms & Conditions

Platforms, market data, commissions and instruments for Futures Prime.

Which Platforms Can I Use For Futures Prime?

Futures Prime is supported on ATAS, Quantower, Volsys and R/Trader, plus Tradovate, NinjaTrader and TradingView.

Some platforms are compatible but unsupported and need your own licence (Sierra Charts, MotiveWave, Jigsaw and Volfix). Mobile trading is available.

How Do I Set Up My Platform?

All Futures Prime trading is on a demo account.

To connect, log in to your chosen platform with the demo credentials The Trading Pit sends you — your login/username, password and the server (system) to connect to.

Use the connection guide for your platform, and the vendor’s own help for using the platform itself:

Tradovate

Quantower

ATAS

R/Trader Pro (Rithmic)

TradingView

Choosing your connection — when a platform asks which system or server to connect to, choose The Trading Pit’s connection.

For Rithmic, select The Trading Pit gateway specifically — not a generic Rithmic system — so you’re routed to the correct servers with your demo account.

If login fails — first check you’re using the correct credentials and server for your account; if it still fails, contact our Trader Support team.

What About Market Data?

With futures, pricing comes directly from the exchange in real time. Level 1 (top of book) is included free on all accounts; deeper market depth (Level 2) is a paid monthly subscription:

  • Level 1 (Top of Book) — the highest bid and lowest ask, either across multiple exchanges (NBBO) or on a single exchange.

  • Level 2 (Depth of Book) — multiple price levels of bids and asks. Available as Market-by-Price (aggregated volume at each price) or Market-by-Order (every individual order at each level).

Which Provider Your Account Uses

You choose your trading platform at purchase — the market data provider is set automatically from that platform, not chosen separately.

By default accounts use DxFeed, except R/Trader Pro (which uses Rithmic) and Tradovate/NinjaTrader (which use Tradovate).

Once your account is created, the platform and data provider can’t be changed.

When you subscribe in your dashboard, select Non-Professional status.

Professional status is charged significantly higher fees.

This applies to DxFeed, Rithmic and Tradovate data.

What Are The Commissions?

Standard and mini contracts: $0.50 per contract.

Micro contracts: $0.20 per contract, except Micro Bitcoin at $0.50.

Which Instruments Can I Trade?

Futures Prime covers a wide range of instruments across several exchanges, including

  • Currency futures (e.g. 6E, 6B, 6J).

  • Energy (CL, NG, RB).

  • Equity indices (ES, NQ, YM, RTY and their micros).

  • Metals (GC, SI, HG).

  • Agriculture (ZC, ZS, LE), interest rates.

  • Micro crypto (MBT, MET).

  • European instruments (DAX/FDAX, EURO STOXX 50/FESX, Euro-Bund/FGBL).

How Many Contracts Can I Trade?

There is no minimum.

The maximum depends on your account size

  • $50K up to 5 standard / 50 micro

  • $100K up to 10 / 100

  • $150K up to 15 / 150

The lower your current balance, the fewer contracts you can trade.
