Which Platforms Can I Use, And Can I Change Later?
CFD Challenges are available on cTrader and other popular platforms.
You choose your platform before purchasing, directly in your Client Area.
Your Challenge is then bound to that platform — you cannot change it during the Challenge, so pick carefully at the start.
What Must I Download To Start Trading?
Depending on the CFD Challenge you choose, you’ll download the relevant platform from your Dashboard.
How Do I Connect To cTrader?
If you chose cTrader when purchasing:
Check your email — after purchase you’ll receive an email from cTrader (noreply@ctrader.com) with your cTrader ID and password setup.
Select the login button in that email and set your password.
Log in to cTrader Web, Desktop or Mobile with your cTrader ID and new password.
In the platform, choose “Login with cTrader ID”, enter your cTrader ID and password, and log in.
Start trading on your Trading Pit demo account. If the email doesn’t arrive, check spam/junk; if login fails, re-check your details or contact support.
What Leverage Applies To My CFD Account?
Leverage depends on the asset class and account type:
Asset class | TTP & cTrader | Partner broker (Orbex, GBE) |
FX currency pairs | 1:50 | 1:50 |
Indices | 1:15 | 1:10 |
Commodities | 1:10 | 1:10 |
Stocks | 1:2 | 1:2 |
Cryptocurrencies | 1:2 | 1:2 |
How Many Lots Can I Trade?
There is no hard limit on lots. Your maximum position size is limited by the margin each instrument requires: the more margin your positions use, the fewer additional lots you can open.
Margin = (Volume × Contract Size × Asset Price) ÷ Leverage. For example, 1 lot of EUR/USD at 1.1000 with 1:50 leverage and a 100,000 contract size requires (1 × 100,000 × 1.1000) ÷ 50 = 2,200 USD margin.
As guidance, keep margin use below 30% per trade idea and risk below 1.5%.
Can I Trade Spot Forex In The CFD Challenges?
No. We do not offer Spot Forex in the CFD Challenges — only CFDs.
The Chart Price Never Reached My Order — Why Was It Executed?
A chart shows two prices: the bid and the ask, and the difference between them is the spread.
By default the chart displays the bid price, but buy orders fill at the ask and sell orders fill at the bid.
So the visible (bid) price may not appear to reach your level even though the ask has already triggered your order. To see both, right-click the chart, open Properties, and enable “Show Ask price line”.
