What Is CFD Trading?
CFD trading, or Contract for Difference trading, is a method where you speculate on the price movements of underlying assets without owning them. These assets can include stocks, commodities, currencies, indices, and even cryptocurrencies.
For example, you can trade CFDs on popular stocks like Apple or Google, commodities like gold or oil, currency pairs like EUR/USD, or market indices like the S&P 500. CFD trading lets you access a diverse range of asset classes and speculate on their price movements.
What Is CFD Prime And How Does It Work?
CFD Prime is an evaluation program available as a one-phase or two-phase Challenge. You purchase a CFD account in the size you choose, then complete the evaluation by reaching the Profit Target(s) while following the trading rules. All trading takes place on demo accounts using simulated funds.
Once you pass the Challenge, you receive a funded demo Earning Account. From there you can request rewards and, over time, scale your account up. Available CFD Prime account sizes are $2,500, $5,000, $10,000, $20,000, $50,000, $100,000 and $200,000; the two-phase option is available on all sizes except $200,000.
What’s The Difference Between The Challenge And The Earning Phase?
Both take place on a demo account under real market conditions.
The difference is how your results are treated: in the Challenge, any profit is not withdrawable — it only proves your trading. In the Earning Phase, you can request rewards based on your trading.
The full rules that apply in each phase are set out in “CFD Prime rules”, and reward details are in “Rewards”.
