Eligibility & Requirements

Who can trade with us, and what to know before you start.

Do You Accept Clients Under 18 Years Old?

We can only accept clients who are 18 years of age or older, as we require proof of identity before processing any payouts.

Do I Need To Know How To Trade?

It’s not a requirement on our part, but having trading experience will definitely help. On a Challenge it makes it easier to reach the Profit Target within the rules — and with CFD Instant, where you start earning right away, it helps you trade toward your payouts.

Do You Accept Corporate Registrations?

We only accept individual traders’ registrations — corporate registrations are not permitted.

Which Are The Restricted Countries For Your Services?

The Trading Pit is unable to provide any type of service to clients residing in the following countries: Burundi, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, South Sudan, Sudan, and the Syrian Arab Republic.

Please note that in some countries, certain Challenge types (Futures, CFD, Stocks) or some market data providers (Tradovate, dxFeed or Rithmic) may not be available. Your Client Area will display only the products available in your country of residence. Products that are not supported in your location will not appear as purchasable options.

Futures trading is not supported for residents of the following countries and regions: Afghanistan, Albania, Antarctica, Belarus, Burkina Faso, Chad, Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, Cuba, Djibouti, East Timor, Guinea-Bissau, Iran, Lao PDR, Lesotho, Libya, Malawi, North Korea, Palestinian Territory, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sudan, South Sudan, Syria, Tajikistan, Yemen, Iraq, and Russia.

Important note: this list is subject to change based on regulatory updates and data licensing restrictions.

If you are unsure whether a certain Challenge type or market data provider is available in your country, you may contact us at support@thetradingpit.com for confirmation.

Do I Have To Pay TAX On My Profits?

How any rewards you receive are taxed depends on the laws and tax regulations in your country of residence, so we recommend speaking to a qualified tax advisor — The Trading Pit is unable to provide tax advice.

Please also note that we do not add tax to the invoices we generate, and we cannot include personal details such as your ID or tax identification number on them. Reporting and paying any tax you owe is your own responsibility.
