How It Works & Getting Started

What The Trading Pit is, how prop trading works, and how to set up and buy your first Challenge.

What Is The Trading Pit?

The Trading Pit provides educational and training programs in the field of simulated securities trading.

Our programs are built for knowledge transfer, practical training through simulations, and developing trading discipline and risk-management skills.

All activity takes place on demo accounts using simulated funds — we are not a broker, asset manager, investment firm, fund manager or regulated financial services firm, and we do not provide investment advice.

How Does Proprietary Trading Work?

In proprietary (“prop”) trading, you trade the firm’s capital instead of risking your own. First, you prove yourself in an evaluation Challenge — reaching the profit target while sticking to the trading rules.

Once you’ve shown you can trade consistently and manage risk, we give you access to a funded trading environment where you can earn rewards on the profits you generate.

What’s The Process To Start Earning With The Trading Pit?

There are two ways to start earning with The Trading Pit.

The usual route is to purchase one of our evaluation Challenges. Once you reach the Profit Target(s) without breaching any rules, you move on to the Earning Phase.

Here you’re given a funded demo account (an “Earning Account”) where all trading remains fully simulated, you can request payouts based on your trading, and your account can be scaled up over time.

With CFD Instant, you can skip the Challenge altogether and go straight to the Earning Phase from the start.

How Do I Register With The Trading Pit?

To register with The Trading Pit and take part in one of our Challenges, you must first sign up here by creating an account through our official registration page.

How Do I Purchase A Challenge?

To purchase a Challenge, log into your Client Area.

From there you can choose from a variety of Challenges and asset classes — Futures and CFD. Crypto and Stocks Challenges coming soon.
