Recommendation: Use the Back Office before service to review notes, messages, and plan the day. During service, the Tebi App is the better tool for managing reservations on the move.
The Tebi App focuses on quick service-time access — today's bookings, the next arrival, who's seated. The Back Office gives you the full picture across days, weeks and months. The same data; different lenses.
In the Tebi App
Tap Reservations in the bottom bar.
Choose a view from the top of the screen:
Tap any reservation to open its details.
To search a guest by name: use the search icon at the top right.
In the Back Office
The Back Office shows past reservations too, which the Tebi App doesn't. Useful for guest history.
Open the Agenda
Go to Back Office › Reservations › Agenda. The Agenda opens on the current date — use the arrows in the top right to navigate to other days, or click the date to switch between Day and Month view.
View options
The Agenda has three views:
Day — all reservations for a single day, shown as a Timeline or a List (toggle in the top right).
Month — overview of guests per day across the whole month.
Waitlist — guests waiting for a spot. See Manage your waitlist for the full workflow.
Filter and close days
In Day or Month view, click the filter icon to:
Adjust online availability for that day.
Change pacing per time slot.
Close the day completely, or close and adjust a specific time slot.
(Month view) Click Choose closed day, select the days, then click Close X days to close in bulk.
See Pacing & Day limits for how pacing and day limits work.
Day view
Go to Reservations › Agenda.
Click Day in the top left or click the date.
Pick the date with the date selector.
Switch between Timeline and List using the toggle in the top right.
Use the search field to find a reservation by name.
Month view
Click Today in the top left.
The calendar shows the number of guests per day.
Click a date to jump to its Day view.
Click the filter icon on the calendar to change day limits.
What you see
Each day shows the number of reservations for that day.
A colour or intensity indicates how full the day is relative to your day limit.
Click any day to drill down into the Day view for that date.
What it's useful for
Spotting trends. Friday + Saturday density across the month tells you weekend demand.
Planning staffing. A heavier week than usual is a signal to bring more staff in.
Filling gaps. A quiet Tuesday is a candidate for a promotion or campaign.
Comparing months. Click the month name to jump forward or back.
Timeline view
The Timeline shows reservations across the day with the guest count, customer name, and check-in status per booking.
Click a reservation to centre it in the view and open its details.
Drag and drop reservations to rearrange the seating plan.
Drag the edges of a reservation bar (hover until grip handles appear) to change its start or end time. Minimum duration is 15 minutes. Available for upcoming reservations in Confirmed, Tentative, or Pending state.
Add a colour to a reservation when editing it — useful for highlighting celebrations or allergies.
A pacing bar at the top is colour-coded based on how full each time slot is relative to your pacing limits. The Groups Bar shows reservations seated and still to arrive per time slot; the Guests Bar shows the same for individual guests.
A minimap pinned to the bottom of the timeline shows the whole day at a glance.
When you hover over a reservation, a quick-action preview shows buttons for Check-in, Place (for waitlisted guests), and Add note — so you can act on a booking without opening the full details panel.
List view
The List view shows the same reservations as a sortable list, including reservation time, group size, table, guest name, guest notes, and check-in status.
Returning guests are highlighted with a circled number showing how many reservations are linked to their account.
Newly created reservations show how long ago they were created, for up to 1 hour.
Waitlist view
Switch to the Waitlist view to see guests waiting for a spot on the selected day. See Manage your waitlist for the full waitlist workflow.
Tip: Save commonly used filter combinations (e.g. Today + Confirmed + Bar area) using the filter bar.
