Set up the Customer-Facing Display to show guest the receipts on the terminal
To allow customers to choose the option of a digital receipt (by scanning QR code) or have the receipt emailed to them from the terminal, enable the CFD and set it up:
In the Tebi App: go to Menu > Settings > Customer-facing display
Click on Configure display
Turn on the toggle for the desired receipt options:
Offer digital receipt
Include entering email address
Offer printed receipt
Choose the window and then click Launch display
How the Digital & Email receipts show on terminal
After a payment has been completed, the customer can:
Scan the QR code for the receipt [recommended*]
The customer will receive a link where they can email or download the receipt
Email receipt
The customer will need to fill in their email address and click Send
The receipt display will close automatically after downloading or sending the receipt
NOTE! If a new payment is initiated while the receipt display is still open, it will cancel the receipt process.
Still want to access the digital receipt? Find the Sale in the Tebi App in the Open/Close sales list and click the three dots next to the sale > View digital receipt. A QR code will appear for the guest to scan.
Tebi Tip: Scanning a QR code is quicker than filling in an email address, leaving the terminal free for a next payment.
Print receipts
After a payment has been completed, a receipt will automatically print.
