Show receipts after payments

Allow customers to choose an option for a receipt on the terminal after payment by setting up the Customer-Facing Display

Set up the Customer-Facing Display to show guest the receipts on the terminal

To allow customers to choose the option of a digital receipt (by scanning QR code) or have the receipt emailed to them from the terminal, enable the CFD and set it up:

  • In the Tebi App: go to Menu > Settings > Customer-facing display

  • Click on Configure display

  • Turn on the toggle for the desired receipt options:

    • Offer digital receipt

    • Include entering email address

    • Offer printed receipt

  • Choose the window and then click Launch display

How the Digital & Email receipts show on terminal

After a payment has been completed, the customer can:

  • Scan the QR code for the receipt [recommended*]

    • The customer will receive a link where they can email or download the receipt

  • Email receipt

    • The customer will need to fill in their email address and click Send

  • The receipt display will close automatically after downloading or sending the receipt

  • NOTE! If a new payment is initiated while the receipt display is still open, it will cancel the receipt process.

    • Still want to access the digital receipt? Find the Sale in the Tebi App in the Open/Close sales list and click the three dots next to the sale > View digital receipt. A QR code will appear for the guest to scan.

Tebi Tip: Scanning a QR code is quicker than filling in an email address, leaving the terminal free for a next payment.

Print receipts

After a payment has been completed, a receipt will automatically print.
