Overview

You have a few different ways in which you can create a template:

→ Option 1: Start from a blank template

For those who prefer full control over the template’s structure, you can start from a blank template and build your template step by step.

This is ideal if you want to map directly to an existing format in your medical record system system.

→ Option 2: Duplicate an existing template

If you have a template that’s close to what you need, you can duplicate it to create a copy. This allows you to modify the existing structure and edit specific sections.

Option 3: Create a fixed-structure template

Fixed-structure templates are used when your medical record system requires a specific structure for notes to be transferred correctly.

This means that you can't modify the overall structure, but Tandem stills allow you to customise how content is written within it.

ⓘ Fixed-structure templates might not be available for your medical record system. Currently this option is only available for: EMIS, SystmOne.
