Deactivating a driver tells Tachogram they no longer work with your company. They stop showing up in your Drivers list, driver groups, and most reports — while all of their historical data stays exactly as it was.
👤 Available for:
Company accounts — Admin and Manager users
Drivers → select driver → Deactivate.
What changes, and what doesn't
Once a driver is deactivated, they no longer appear in your Drivers list or in driver groups, and they drop out of most reports.
Many reports still let you choose to include deactivated drivers, so their data is never hard to find if you need it. Nothing about their existing data changes: every activity, file, and report already on record for that driver stays fully accessible, exactly as it was before deactivation.
Reactivating a driver
Deactivation isn't permanent. Uploading a new tachograph file for that driver reactivates them automatically.
You can also deactivate several drivers at once directly from the Drivers list.
