Duplicate drivers usually appear when a driver receives a new or replacement driver card, or when the same driver’s data is uploaded again but the system treats it as a new profile.
This can happen, for example, after a card renewal, card replacement due to loss or damage, or when historical data and new uploads are added separately. Since each driver card has its own identifier, the system may initially recognize it as a different driver.
Using the “Merge drivers” button links the old and new driver cards into a single driver profile. This ensures that all past and future uploads, activities, and reports belong to the same driver, keeping their history complete and preventing split data across multiple profiles.
Company accounts — admins and managers — can upload a new driver card and a duplicate driver will appear. Then they can use the “Merge drivers” button in the Drivers section to link merge them together.
