What is the "Attestation of activities" section for?

The Attestation of Activities section helps you explain what a driver was doing during periods when the tachograph or driver card recorded no data.

This includes time off from driving, such as sick leave, annual leave, or other work. The section creates an official EU document that the driver can sign and carry as proof of their activities.

👤This section can be found:

  • Company account (Admin and Manager):

    • Drivers → select a driver → Attestation of activities

  • Company account (Driver) and Personal accounts:

    • Tachograph data → Attestation of activities

Features

Explains gaps in recorded data

When a driver card or tachograph does not record any activity, it can leave a gap in the data. This section lets you fill that gap with a clear explanation, so there is always a record of what the driver was doing, even when the equipment wasn't tracking it.

Generates an official EU form

The section creates the official EU "Attestation of Activities" form. The document is ready to print and sign, so you always have a valid, standardized declaration on hand.

🔔This section creates an Attestation of Activities document only. It does not update the driver's card or the tachograph.

If the form is used, the signed original should be kept with the driver's tachograph records and presented if requested during an inspection.

Keeps you ready for inspections

During roadside or company inspections, this document shows exactly what the driver was doing when the card wasn't in use. Having it ready helps you demonstrate compliance quickly and confidently.

Choose the reason

You can select the reason that best describes what the driver was doing during that time:

  • Was on sick leave

  • Was on annual leave

  • Was on a leave or rest

  • Drove a vehicle exempted from regulation (EC) 561/2006 or the AETR

  • Performed other work than driving

  • Was available

Save or print instantly

Once the form is filled in, you can save it for your records, or save and print it right away, so you always have a copy ready to hand over.
