What is the 'Report configuration' section for?

The 'Report configuration' module lets you control the rules and settings that shape how your reports work.

📘 The 'Reports configuration' section is available for Company accounts' managers and admins and Personal accounts.

In this section, you can set the exact hours for night work, decide how work time is counted, and select the specific country's legislation for fine calculations. This helps make sure your analytics perfectly match your needs.

You can find it in Settings ➡ Report configuration.

Features

Estimated fines for your country

You can choose which country’s legislation Tachogram uses when calculating estimated fines for infringements. This gives you more accurate and relevant information—especially if you operate in multiple countries or follow specific national rules. With the right legislation selected, you can better understand the potential cost of each mistake, prioritize the most important issues, and manage compliance with more confidence.

🔔 The estimated fines are for internal awareness only. They help you prioritize risks, but actual fines or enforcement outcomes depend on applicable legislation and authority decisions.

Night and evening times configuration

In this section, you can define what counts as night working hours based on the labor regulations in your country. These settings are automatically reflected in your working time reports, helping you stay accurate and compliant without extra manual work.

You can also enable evening time to track those hours separately in key reports. For drivers, this gives you better visibility into how your time is distributed. For managers, it helps plan schedules more effectively.

'Missing distance' report configuration

In this module you can also change how you view gaps in your vehicle data in the 'Missing distance' report.

  • Choosing "by days" shows you each individual day where distance is missing.

  • Choosing "by periods" groups these days together into bigger blocks of time so you can spot long-term problems more quickly.

Working day and Holiday rules

You can also mark specific days as Working days or Holidays. These selections will be reflected in the work time reports, where days are sorted into categories. This helps you ensure accurate payroll calculations, and stay aligned with company policies and local regulations.
