Website Widget - Displaying Call Queues

Creating a website widget to display call queues

Updated this week

The Website Widget advises patients of the current live queue length for your surgery. Patients will be informed in advance how busy your surgery is prior to calling and therefore gain greater transparency

You can create multiple widgets that can be added to different sections of your website or Digital Assistant where they can be filtered to display one or all groups

The Widgets will display the number of Callers in Queue or the Current Longest Wait time, and can be configured to match the font and colour of your website

Configuring your Widget

To create a Website Widget login to the Service Delivery Console and select Manage Queue Widgets

From here, a list of configured widgets is displayed. To add a new Widget, select + Create New Queue Widget

Designing your Widget

This section enables you to customise the widgets appearance and functionality to suit your surgery

Widget Name - (internal use only)

Widget type -

  • Callers in Queue - the total number of patients waiting

  • Current Longest Wait - the longest time a patient has been waiting

Group to Display - choose which telephony group you want to display, pick from one or all groups

Typography - customise the font colour, font size, icon colour, icon size, corner ratios and the frame

Once you have finalised your widget you will see a Generate Code button
