Start new conversations in Superchat from any remote system. The Superchat link is a dynamic link that either starts a new conversation, or if f you already have a conversation with the contact on the link, it redirects you to that conversation.

Try it with an example to our support chat by clicking on this link (you need to be logged in to Superchat):

How does the Superchat Link work?

Here is a sample link to get you started:

https://app.superchat.de/inbox/find/?wa=4915224449329&firstname=Paula&lastname=Paulchen

As soon as you click on such a link and you don't have a conversation with this number yet, we start a new WhatsApp conversation in Superchat with the phone number from the link. Simultaneously, we save the contact with the specified phone number, first name and last name.

If you already have a conversation on this phone number, we will direct you to the conversation. We only save the first and last name of existing contacts if you have not yet saved a first or last name. Existing data will not be overridden.

Creating a Superchat Link

In General

In most systems (CRMs, shop systems, support systems) you can create contact fields and either fill them dynamically or have them filled dynamically via workflows in these systems. Eventually, the Superchat link is a concatenation of our URL, a few parameters and the data of your contact.

  1. The beginning of our link always is https://app.superchat.de/inbox/find/? Please keep the / between find and ? . If you forget it, your browser may open Google instead of Superchat, as it interprets the link as a question rather than an URL.

  2. Add wa= or sms= or email= depending on which communication channel you want to start a conversation on.

  3. The channel code (wa, sms, email) needs to be followed by either your contact's phone number (WhatsApp or mobile number) or email address. Please make sure the phone number is in international format (with or without a leading plus sign).

  4. Optional: Add &firstname= and the first name of your contact.

  5. Optional: Add &lastname= and the last name of your contact.

    Your link is ready. ๐ŸŽ‰

Again, in short:

https://app.superchat.de/inbox/find/? + wa= or sms= or email= + phone number or email address + optional &firstname= + firstname + &lastname= + lastname

The Superchat link will not work if the first or last name inserted has spaces or special characters, as those generally are not supported in URLs.
