Introduction

When you create a new opt-in method to collect subscribers, you can also make it trigger an automation after the customer subscribes to your Newsletter. This is especially useful when new customers scan the QR-code from the Opt-in method, start the conversation, and you now try to keep the conversation going.

The steps

  1. Create a new opt-in method;

2. Start a new automation and create a new message content filter word choosing the same word that you selected for the opt-in method. Alternatively, you can easily implement those steps in an already existing workflow.

  • Build the automation however you see fit, and then publish it. Make sure that the content filter content exactly matched the Opt-in keyword.

Now, the automation will trigger whenever a customer subscribes to your Newsletter!
