Superchat

In this article, you will learn how to build an automation, which automatically sends WhatsApp templates to new contacts from HubSpot with Zapier. ​ ​

Use Case: We want to send out a WhatsApp template to all new contact created in Hubspot. The template could be something like an invitation to book a Product Demo.

Choose Contact Recently Created or Updated in Hubspot as Trigger.

Add the next action Find a Contact in Superchat: ​

1. Select Phone Number. ​
2. Then add the phone number of the new or updated contact in Hubspot. ​
3. In the end of this step, choose Yes (so automation will continue, even if nothing is found in HubSpot)

In the next action, Create a Path.

Create Path rule for Path A (Create Contact): ​

1. Choose Custom Rules. ​
2. Choose Zap seach status was found and then Boolean is false.

Add Create Contact in Superchat to this path: ​

1. In the section Action, you can then specify with which data you want to create the contact in Superchat.

Then add Send WhatsApp Template in Superchat as last action in this path: ​

1. Fill out every mandatory field and choose the WhatsApp template you want to send.
    

Create a Path rule for Path B (Update Contact): ​

1. Choose Custom Rules. ​
2. Choose Zap search status was found and then Boolean is true.

Add action Update Contact in Superchat to this path: ​

1. In the section Action, you can then specify with which data you want to update the contact in HubSpot.

1. Fill out every mandatory field and choose the WhatsApp template you want to send .

1. Create a new Zap in Zapier.
 
2. Choose Contact Recently Created or Updated in Hubspot as Trigger.
 
3. Add the next action Find a Contact in Superchat: ​
 
 
 1. Select Phone Number. ​
 2. Then add the phone number of the new or updated contact in Hubspot. ​
 3. In the end of this step, choose Yes (so automation will continue, even if nothing is found in HubSpot)
 
4. In the next action, Create a Path.
 
5. Create Path rule for Path A (Create Contact): ​
 
 
 1. Choose Custom Rules. ​
 2. Choose Zap seach status was found and then Boolean is false.
 
6. Add Create Contact in Superchat to this path: ​
 
 
 1. In the section Action, you can then specify with which data you want to create the contact in Superchat.
 
7. Then add Send WhatsApp Template in Superchat as last action in this path: ​
 
 
 1. Fill out every mandatory field and choose the WhatsApp template you want to send.
 
8. Create a Path rule for Path B (Update Contact): ​
 
 
 1. Choose Custom Rules. ​
 2. Choose Zap search status was found and then Boolean is true.
 
9. Add action Update Contact in Superchat to this path: ​
 
 
 1. In the section Action, you can then specify with which data you want to update the contact in HubSpot.
 
10. Then add Send WhatsApp Template in Superchat as last action in this path: ​
 
 
 1. Fill out every mandatory field and choose the WhatsApp template you want to send .
