To use your WhatsApp number, that is currently registered on the API, on the WhatsApp (Business) App again, you have to follow these two steps:
Once done, your number should be available within a few minutes.
The first step is only required, if your number is connected via our partner 360Dialog. If your WhatsApp channel has the name "WhatsApp Business API", you can immediately skip to step 2.
1. Delete your number in 360dialog
Log in to the 360dialog Client Hub
Click on WhatsApp Accounts to the left side
Click on Show details for the number you want to delete.
Then scroll to the bottom and click on Cancel subscription
Type "CANCEL" in the text box and then hit Cancel Subscription
2. Delete your number in WhatsApp Manager in Meta Business manager
Navigate to π WhatsApp Manager
Here you will find the phone number you want to delete
Click on Delete (trash can icon ποΈ) and follow the steps to delete the number.
Done! Now your WhatsApp number should be available again within a few minutes. π
