Since the WhatsApp API is DSGVO-compliant, there are some special rules and requirements for companies using it:
After the expiry of the so-called "24h Customer Care Window", you can only resume contact with customers by using WhatsApp templates that have been approved by META.
The same applies to business initiated conversations. If a chat has been inactive for more than 24 hours, you will need a template to re-start the conversation.
