Group settings
Updated over a week ago

In the Group Settings view, you can set general settings that apply to all groups in the club. You can determine the visibility of contact information, set an age limit for direct messages, and decide whether private accounts can be used as a payment method.

Visibility of contact information in groups

In groups, you can decide whether members should be able to see each other's contact information or if only administrators with the appropriate rights can view this information.

You can choose from the following options for the visibility of contact information in groups:

  • Visible to all members
By default, all members can see other members' contact information. Members can choose to hide their own contact information when they join the group.

  • Visible only to administrators
Only group administrators with the rights to edit members can see other members' contact information.

Age limit for direct messages

The age limit for direct messages is a setting where you can establish a minimum age for messaging within the group. You can choose between no age limit or age limits of 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, and 18 years.

The purpose of this setting is to create a safe environment for children and ensure that they only participate in conversations when they are ready.

💡 Tip!

  • If you enable this age limit, you can still grant specific administrators the rights to send messages to children in the group. This can be done under Club Settings and Group Roles.

  • Messages sent from Spond Club are not affected by changes to the age limits for direct messages.

Private bank accounts as the payout method

This setting gives you control over which accounts can be used for financial transactions, helping to ensure that payments are handled in a safer and more professional manner.

The options you can choose from are:

  • Allow private payment accounts
Select this if you want to allow private accounts as a payment method for transactions in your groups.

  • Do not allow private payment accounts
Select this if you do not want to allow private accounts as a payment method for transactions in your groups.

Once you have made the desired changes, click "Save" at the bottom right.
