How to Create a New Group
How to Create a New Group
We recommend creating one group per team or activity. You can also set up as many subgroups within each group as needed. While there's no limit to the number of subgroups you can create, each group can only have up to 500 members.
Step-by-Step Guide
Go to Departments and Groups.
Click on Create Group.
Select the department (this won't affect the members).
Choose a Short Group Name (used in Spond Club) and a Full Group Name (displayed in the app).
Select the Contact Person (see more details below).
Set the Age Group to determine if guardians should be included. Selecting Children/Youth or Mixed allows guardians in the group.
Set group criteria based on gender and age if needed.
Set a group capacity if there's a maximum number of members.
Choose available payment methods (more details below).
Click Save.
NOTE: If your club already has existing groups in the app, it's recommended to import these instead of creating new ones
Available Payment Methods for the Group
Available Payment Methods for the Group
In Spond Club, you can assign payment methods to group administrators. This means administrators can collect funds directly into the payout accounts you've set up in Spond Club, ensuring they can't use their own bank accounts for collections.
When creating a new group, tick the boxes for the bank accounts you want the group's administrators to collect funds for.
