Tasks in events
Updated over a week ago

In connection with training sessions, matches and other events, there are many tasks that need to be performed, such as driving, bringing something to eat or washing uniforms. Therefore, admin can add tasks to an event. Tasks can be assigned to specific guardians, or be open so that anyone can volunteer.

Creating tasks

How to create a task

  1. Create a new event

  2. Scroll down to 'Add task'

  3. Select 'New task'

  4. Enter the title and a description of the task and set whether it should be open to everyone or selected people.

Assign tasks

You can assign tasks to anyone in the group, without the person having to be invited to the event, including members, guardians and admins. The task will appear as 'Awaiting confirmation' until the person confirms that the task has been accepted or has rejected it. It's also possible to send a message directly to those who have been assigned the task, either via a group message or separate messages.

If the task is open to everyone, you can also specify how many people are needed to complete the task. When enough volunteers have signed up, the task automatically becomes unavailable to others.

Admins can also select whether children should be able to take the task. If a task is assigned to a child, the parent or guardian will be able to accept and perform the task.

Create a template for tasks

When a task is created, you can choose to save it as a template so that it appears as a suggestion the next time you create an event. To do this, select 'Create template' when you create the task.

In the group settings, you can see an overview of which templates are stored in the group. It's also possible to create new templates directly from there.
