What is a subgroup?
A subgroup allows you to organise participants into smaller units. The subgroups function as separate entities within your main group. This makes it easier to manage and communicate with specific groups of participants. You can create and customise subgroups according to your needs, giving you more flexibility in how you manage events and activities in Spond.
For example, if you create a main group with the title "Team name Boys 03", the titles of the subgroups (teams) can be yellow/red/green or zebra/tiger/lion etc.
⚠️ NOTE: All players will be in the main group and receive invitations/notifications from there, but you can add required players to one or more specific subgroups. No one other than the members of a subgroup can see the information shared there (except admins).

The main difference between which age group you choose for your group is whether you want the member to have guardians listed on them.
You can change this at any time under the group's settings. You can choose between these age groups:
Children/youth (0-17 years)
Adults (18+ years)
Mixed (all ages)

The maximum number of members in a group is 1,000 people. This gives you plenty of room to organise and communicate with many members at once. If you need more groups, you can easily create new ones and distribute members as needed.
