The monthly fee includes, among other things, the following services provided by smarta Steuerberatung:
Ongoing financial accounting and recording of all business transactions
Asset accounting including annual depreciation
Advance VAT returns and summary reports
Profit and loss statement (EÜR)
Business tax returns such as VAT and trade tax returns
Parts of the private tax return: main form, Form S (self-employed), Form G (tradespeople), pension expenses, special expenses, extraordinary burdens, household-related expenses, Form K (child), Form AV (retirement provision, Riester)
Tax consulting via email and chat on topics such as home office, car taxation, and more
Premium app services, intelligent tax dashboards, and user-friendly exports (including business analysis reports (BWA) and DATEV exports)

One-time service
In addition to the ongoing services included in your smarta plan, certain requests or extra tasks may be billed as one-time services.
This article explains what counts as a one-time service, how to identify them, and when they are invoiced.
What is a one-time service?
One-time services are not included in the monthly base price of your smarta plan.
They cover special tasks or additional effort that go beyond the standard scope of service and are only billed if you use them.
Common examples of one-time services (selected):
Signed BWA or official certificate: €49
Tax form Anlage N (for employed work alongside self-employment): €99
Investment advice or contract review: €120/hr
Tax form Anlage V+V (rental income): €120/hr
Appeal against a tax assessment: €120/hr
Late submission of documents or missing cooperation: €99

When are one-time services billed?
One-time services are billed in the month following delivery of the service.
Example: You request a certificate or appeal letter in July – the corresponding charge will appear on your August invoice.
Depending on your chosen payment method, charges are collected via SEPA direct debit or can be paid by bank transfer.
How can I see if something was billed as a one-time service?
You’ll find one-time services:
clearly listed on your smarta invoice
with service name, date, and price
always separate from the ongoing service charges
