How to create a cross section:
Select Cross section if it is not already active.
Create your profile line either freehand or by importing a profile line.
Adjust the cross section settings – changes are shown directly in the scene:
Interval (m) – distance between sections.
Interval distribution – choose 2D (Flatten) or 3D (Follow line).
Width left (m) – distance to the left.
Width right (m) – distance to the right.
The cross section result is displayed directly in the graph – each surface is represented by its own line, explained in the legend on the right.
To change the color of a line, click the colored square in the legend.
To hide or show an object in the scene, toggle it in the object list – the graph updates automatically.
To move between sections, either enter a value in the Section 0 / 000.000 field (the starting section) or click a section directly in the scene.
To export the cross section to PDF, click the Export PDF icon.
