How to create a cross section:

  1. Select Cross section if it is not already active.

  2. Create your profile line either freehand or by importing a profile line.

  3. Adjust the cross section settings – changes are shown directly in the scene:

    • Interval (m) – distance between sections.

    • Interval distribution – choose 2D (Flatten) or 3D (Follow line).

    • Width left (m) – distance to the left.

    • Width right (m) – distance to the right.

  4. The cross section result is displayed directly in the graph – each surface is represented by its own line, explained in the legend on the right.

  5. To change the color of a line, click the colored square in the legend.

  6. To hide or show an object in the scene, toggle it in the object list – the graph updates automatically.

  7. To move between sections, either enter a value in the Section 0 / 000.000 field (the starting section) or click a section directly in the scene.

  8. To export the cross section to PDF, click the Export PDF icon.
