This describes how to retrieve as-built data for surface models, points and lines from active integrations in the project.

Updated over 8 months ago

As-built are points that are saved with connection to the surface the machine is working with. With the acquisition of as-built data to SkyView, it facilitates the verification of work performed when the machinist has measured the surfaces that have been performed. In this way, you can see how far you are from the theoretical surface to reality. Verification of what you do all the way.

Proceed as follows to retrieve as-built data from active integrations in the project:

  1. Go to SkyView and click on the As-built button. If you don't have active integrations in the project, you cannot retrieve any measurements. You need to activate an integration via SkyMap Connect.

  2. When you open the As-built function, a window will appear where you can choose the time interval for retrieving measurements. By default, the last seven days are selected as the interval.

  3. Click on Fetch measurements.

  4. All measurements performed by connected machines in the project during the selected time interval will be displayed in the table. To make it easier to follow what has been measured and to check that the measurements are under the correct codes, the measurements are also temporarily displayed in the scene in SkyView. Point to a measurement point in the scene to display an information box with linked information.

  5. In the table, you can filter the measurements using the column headers. This can be useful if you want to filter on all measurements with a specific code, for example. Measurements that are deleted in the machine, i.e., undone, are not displayed.

  6. You can choose to export the as-built data to LandXML or to a new Design geometry. To export, click Export...

  7. The Export as-built dialog box appears where you can choose to export to a LandXML file via direct download or as a design asset. If you export as a design, it is saved with the name "As-built YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM".
