Change Point Cloud Mode or Point Size in Point Cloud View

Here's how to change the point cloud mode and point size in SkyView.

Updated over a week ago
  • In the point cloud view, click on the arrow to expand the menu for the view settings.

  • In the menu, you can choose how the point cloud should be displayed in the view.

  • To change the display of point cloud classes:

By default, the point cloud is displayed without classification, but you can change this by selecting 'Show Classification.' Then, you'll get a legend showing each point's class.

  • The point cloud can be displayed in dynamic or fixed point cloud mode.

Dynamic: This is the default setting and adjusts the size of the points depending on the loaded LOD (Level of Detail) level in the scene. That is, points closer to the camera have smaller points than points farther away in the scene.

Fixed: The point size does not change depending on the loaded LOD level in the scene. This setting may be preferred in certain situations.
