The devices are yours to keep if you cancel your Smart Home Insurance.
However, you may be asked to pay an early termination charge in some cases such as if you’ve made a claim during your policy term and decide to cancel.
You can keep your devices, but you’ll have limited functionality with your Smart Tech.
You’ll lose access to:
Cloud Storage: videos will no longer be stored in the cloud for up to 30 days. You’ll also be unable to download and share your clips.
Motion and Noise Alerts: you won’t get alerts to your phone when movement or sound is detected by your Video Doorbell and Indoor Camera.
Auto-arming: your devices will not automatically activate when leaving home.
Security Scheduling: you won’t be able to set specific times for your home to automatically arm or disarm.
Incident escalation: if anything goes wrong and you’re not available, we’d be unable to alert you or your emergency contact.
Full Tech Support: you’ll lose access to live chat through the Sky Protect app.
