An alarm will beep on the Leak Sensor when the device comes in contact with water. You'll also get an alert on your phone regardless of the home being ‘armed’. So, you should never miss an alert.
Something in the air
Your Leak Sensor also keeps an eye on humidity levels in your home. Which can also be a sign of damp or hidden leaks. The humidity alerts can be adjusted by accessing the device settings ‘cog’ icon.
Degree level smart
With a built-in temperature tracker, you’ll know if a room is too hot or cold, wherever you’re at home or not. Your temperature alerts can be adjusted by accessing your device settings in your Sky Protect app.
Incident escalation
If a water leak is detected and the initial notification is missed, we’ve got you covered. Here’s how we’ll make sure the alert reaches you:
2 minutes after detection: You and any additional users will receive an SMS alert.
4 minutes after detection: You and any additional users will receive an automated call.
10 minutes after detection: We'll send an SMS to your emergency contact, advising them to follow up with you.
Also at 10 minutes: We'll send you an email letting you know the steps taken to alert you.
Keeping you in charge
Your app shows battery levels, so you’ll always know when it’s time to replace them.
You can check your battery level by tapping into your Leak Sensors in the home screen.
