What’s in the box:

  • Indoor camera

  • USB adapter

  • Power adapter

  • Wall plate

  • Mounting tape

What you’ll need: To set up your Indoor Camera, make sure you have the following:

  • Power socket: Make sure there is a nearby power outlet for the camera’s USB cable.

  • Sky Protect app: Download the Sky Protect app to follow the step-by-step setup guide.

  • Stable internet connection: Your devices must be connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Most home Wi-Fi networks operate on 2.4GHz. If you have a dual-band router, there will be both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks. Here’s how to confirm you’re on the right network:

    • If only one network option is visible, it is likely the 2.4GHz network. Some networks may combine both bandwidths under a single name.

    • Open your smartphone’s Wi-Fi settings.

    • Look for two network options under your Wi-Fi name (e.g., MyWi-FiNetwork and MyWiFiNetwork-5G).

    • Ensure your phone is connected to the 2.4GHz network (it may be labelled with -2G).

    • Verify that the Wi-Fi name entered in the Sky Protect app matches exactly with what is shown in your phone's Wi-Fi settings.

Consider your home setup

  • Select a spot for your camera that is close enough to a power outlet to connect the USB cable.

  • Please note that the device is designed for indoor use only.

  • Your Indoor Camera can be put in any room to monitor, but make sure to keep it close to your Wi-Fi router for the best possible connection.
