Types of cover explained

This covers your personal items such as:

  • Items of clothing, jewellery or sports equipment made to be worn, used, or carried with you.

  • Personal items you carry with you including passports, driving licenses and proof-of-age cards.

The most we’ll pay is:

  • Up to £2,000 for any item of clothing, jewellery, watches, sports equipment or any other personal item made to be worn, used or carried with you, including passports, driving licenses and proof-of-age cards.

  • Up to £500 for any one unspecified pedal cycle including accessories.

  • Up to £500 for loss of money or the unauthorised use of a charge, credit or debit card, provided you and your family have kept to your card issuer’s conditions.

A few things to bear in mind:

  • We won’t pay more than the sum insured shown in your schedule.

  • Any personal item worth more than £2,000 will need to be specified on your policy.
