21-23 June 25 French Customs System Outage

Dear customers,

For the past two days, the French Customs system has been experiencing major technical issues. As a result, the creation of your tax refund forms (PABLO forms) is taking much longer than usual.

This problem is entirely due to the Customs services being temporarily unavailable — it does not come from Skiptax. Unfortunately, without a functioning Customs system, we cannot generate a valid export form.

If you recently went to the Customs kiosk (PABLO terminal) and saw a red error message, please know this is not your fault nor Skiptax’s fault — it is a direct consequence of the Customs system outage.

What to do if you couldn’t validate your form at the airport :

In case of such technical issues, the only solution allowed by the French Customs is to request a manual validation afterwards through the nearest French Embassy or Consulate. You can find instructions in this help article.

We understand how frustrating this situation is and we sincerely apologize. Unfortunately, the tax-free process in France depends entirely on a successful Customs validation. Without this step, Skiptax legally cannot issue any refund.
