Player tags can be used to make finding your Player using the search, quicker and easier, so any tags applied to one or multiple Players can be searched for in the Player Dashboard or the Player Manager and the search results will list all players matching that tag.
The second use for Player Tags is that you can match certain contents within a Playlist to either show or not show on the Players matching a Tag given to an Asset.

What are Tags?
Tags are essentially keywords or labels you assign to your players. For example, you might use tags like:
London_OfficeRetail_StorePortrait_DisplayScreen1Marketing
This allows you to easily find all players in a specific location, with a certain screen orientation, or belonging to a particular department.

How to Add a Tag
To add a new Player Tag, follow these steps:
Navigate to the Player: From your Signagelive Network homepage, click on the specific player you wish to tag.
Select the Tags Tab: Once viewing the player's details, click on the Tags tab.
Enter Your Tag: You'll see an input field in the "Tags" section. Type the desired tag name into this field.
Tip: If you start typing, existing tags will often appear, allowing you to select an already used tag for consistency.
Add the Tag: Press the
EnterAfter typing the tag name, press the key on your keyboard. The tag will then appear as a distinct label below the input field.Example: If you type "Reception" and press Enter, a tag labelled "Reception" will be added.
How to Remove a Tag
To remove a Player Tag, follow these steps:
Navigate to the Player: From your Signagelive Network homepage, click on the specific player you wish to modify.
Select the Tags Tab: Click on the Tags tab.
Locate the Tag: Find the tag you wish to remove in the "Tags" section.
Click the 'x': Each tag has a small 'x' icon next to it. Click this 'x' to instantly remove the tag from the player.
Example: To remove the "Reception" tag, click the 'x' next.
