Adding a new card is quite simple.
First of all, we recommend checking if your card is already enabled for online payments.
Sometimes, new cards may not be active yet — just call your bank to verify and, if needed, activate it.
Here’s how to add your card:
Log in to your Scalapay profile using your phone number.
Select the “Profile” icon at the bottom right.
Scroll down to the “Payment Methods” section.
Press the “Add new card” button.
Enter the details and click “Submit”.
How can I know if the charge will go to my new card and not another one?
The automatic charge is made first on the card set as default in your account.
If the charge fails on the default card, the payment will be attempted on the other cards saved in your account. So don’t worry if you see a charge on a different card — it may be because your default card was declined.
How can I see which card is set as default?
The default card will have a checkmark with a blue circle next to it.
How can I change the default card?
You can easily select another card like this:
Please note that you cannot remove a card (even if it’s expired, blocked, or lost) until all instalments linked to your account have been paid.
