View the SameSystem Log (History) in the Schedule

In this article, you will learn how to view the history of an employee’s shift in the Schedule.

Written by Amanda Larsen

The History feature shows all changes made to a shift, allowing you to easily see what was changed, when the change was made, and who made it.

What Can You See in the History?

In the History view, you can see, among other things:

  • When a shift was scheduled

  • When a shift was published

  • Changes made to the shift

  • Premiums and allowances

  • Recorded absences (but not rejected absences)

  • Who made the change

  • The date and time of the change

This provides a complete overview of everything that has happened to the shift on that particular day.

How to View the History of a Shift

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to Schedule in the menu.

  2. Click Schedule.

  3. Click the shift in the schedule that you want to view the history for.

  4. When the shift window opens, locate History in the bottom-left corner.

  1. Click History to view all recorded changes for the employee on that specific day.

If there are many changes, you can click Show more at the bottom of the History panel
