In this article, you will learn how to connect your private inbox to Samdock using IMAP/SMTP
ℹ️ Please note that emails older than 30 days will not be synced during initial synchronization.
To connect your IMAP/SMTP account:
Go to Settings -> Workspace -> Inbox center
On your Inbox Center settings, add your personal inbox by clicking on the New Source button
Select Personal Inbox from the list of possible new sources --> a new page to select your inbox type will be shown
Select Other
Depending on your email client, you can connect using the following configurations.
Google account
IMAP (Incoming mail)
Server: imap.gmail.com
Port: 993
Username: your Gmail email
Password: App password and not your Gmail password.
SMTP (Outgoing mail)
Server: smtp.gmail.com
Port: 587
Username: your Gmail email
Password: App password and not your Gmail password.
iCloud account
IMAP (Incoming mail)
Server: imap.mail.me.com
Port: 993
Username: your iCloud email
Password: App-specific password and not your iCloud password.
SMTP (Outgoing mail)
Server: smtp.mail.me.com
Port: 587
Username: your iCloud email
Password: App-specific password and not your iCloud password.
Once the configurations are entered, click on the button "Connect Account" and your inbox will sync shortly.
