Panelists can be added to your site directly in the Site Administration area (or from the Study they will be a participant in).
From Site Administration
From the Panelists tab in Site Administration area, you can...
Select the Add Panelist button to register a single Panelist (this can also be done from the All Panelists page)
Select Bulk Import to prepare and upload multiple Panelists via an Excel spreadsheet
Warning: No emails are sent to Panelists that are added in the Site Administration area. Once you choose to add them to a Study, you must enter the Study and compose an email invitation to participants deemed Added but not yet invited.
From a Study
From the Study, navigate to Study Admin > Add Participants. You can also access participant-management shortcuts from the Participant Directory in the Study header. The Add Participants page provides several participant onboarding options:
Use Existing Profile Data
Bulk Import a Spreadsheet: Allows you to Bulk Import participant accounts by importing existing profile data from a spreadsheet. You can include Segment and Profile Field data and send invitations after the import.
Assign Existing Panelists: Add Panelists who are already registered on the site to the Study.
Invite to Self-Register
Send Email Invitations: Allows you to send and track email invitations by copying and pasting email addresses into the accompanying field on the Compose Message page.
Share a Registration Link: Allows you to send or share a static link that enables Study registration. You can share the URL by email, on your website, or through social media. Do not use the registration link for participants who have already been added through Bulk Import, as this can create duplicate accounts.
Note: If you already have participant email addresses or recruitment data—such as names, Segments, or Profile Fields—or if you want to control account credentials such as usernames and passwords, use Bulk Import. This lets you preload participant information, personalize messages using dynamic values, and help reduce email delivery issues by providing participants with the site URL and their initial login credentials.
