Audirvana is a piece of software available for Mac/PC and which allows you to manage and merge different musical libraries. You can then search all your musical content, and add a layer of metadata to your listening experience.

This interface also allows you to get round the limitations of Airplay (which limits you to 16-Bit at 48 kHz) when listening wirelessly on a UPnP/DLNA compatible device from your Mac.
