Accept an invitation
If you have received an email from Priva (noreply@priva.com) titled "Welcome to Priva!", then you have been invited to use the Priva services that the Access Control administrator of your organization has given you access to. Use the button in the invitation email to accept it. Invites are valid for a limited time as specified in the email.
After choosing your account type, you can only sign in with that type. If you later want to switch, you must request a new invitation from your administrator.
If you have received an email from Priva (noreply@priva.com) titled Update your Priva account, go to How to accept a re-invite to update your Priva account? for more information.
Microsoft Azure Active Directory
If your organization uses Microsoft Azure AD to manage user identities, you can use your corporate account to sign in directly (Single Sign-On). By clicking Microsoft Azure AD, a Priva account will be created that is linked to your Azure AD identity.
Azure AD is the built-in solution for managing identities in Office 365. If you have Office 365, you can choose to use your Azure AD identity for Priva Digital Services. If you're unsure whether you have an Azure AD identity, please ask your administrator.
Advantages of using Azure Active Directory
Using your Azure Active Directory identity offers several key benefits:
You avoid the need to create a separate Priva account and remember additional credentials
If you leave the organization, your access to Priva services will be revoked immediately once your corporate AAD account is deactivated or deleted, regardless of whether you are explicitly removed from Access Control
Creating a custom account
If it's not possible to use a corporate Azure Active Directory account and if you haven't created an account before, you can click Create account. A custom account gets created and linked to the organization you are invited to.
You will be asked to verify your email address by entering the code sent to your email. If you didn't receive an email, check your spam folder.
You may need to add msonlineservicesteam@microsoftonline.com to your safe sender's list.
The verification code expires after 5 minutes. Press the Send new code button to receive a new code.
Note that if you click this button, the code in the previous email becomes invalid.
Sign in with earlier earlier-created account
Received an invite while you have created a custom account before? In that case, you can click Sign in. Your existing account will then be linked to the organization you are invited to.
