What is a Maturity Assessment?
A Maturity Assessment is Prewave's way of representing how mature a Site is in our system. Maturity is considered to be what a Site is certified for, what they report or declare, what policies they have in place and whether they have a standard or rating. Via this feature, Prewave captures all-important non-financial datapoints at supplier level and visualises them in the Prewave network, in the form of a list and score.
We collect the following datapoints in a Maturity Assessment:
Certifications (ISOs for example)
Policies
Reports
Declarations
Statements
Standards
Ratings
A full list of data we collect can be found here
How is this information found?
Prewave runs a semi-automated process to firstly discover information and then verify it. We only publish information in our dashboard that has been verified by us. We check against relevant accreditor databases as well as the websites of the companies we are searching on.
How to request a Maturity Assessment?
A Maturity Assessment can be requested by creating an Action at a Site, and selecting the Maturity Assessment option. This will then be stored in your Action Planner.
How long does it take to complete?
A request will usually be completed in a few hours, depending on how many are sent
Where are the results stored?
A list of the information found is stored under the Certificates tab on a Site profile. Depending whether the information found is Site Group-wide, we sometimes allow it to propagate onto the Site Group profile also.
Setting up notifications
We have introduced a way that users can setup notifications when certain certificates are going to expire. This is shown only for certificates that have a validation range. You can see this option under the Certificates tab of a target profile.
Next to the ISO 9001:2015 above you can see that there is an option to turn on a notification. When you select this:
You will be notified 1 month before this specific certificate expires, at this specific Site
The notification will appear in the "Notifications" section in the top bar menu
Only you will receive these notifications, not other users in the same company
Reporting wrong information
We also added a way in which you can report wrong information if you see it. To do this, click the flag icon next to an entry under the Certificates tab.
A form will open where you can let us know the irregular information you see. We will then take steps to proof and correct this.
