Where are you not allowed to park?

Updated this week

❌ Parking your Poppy here is not permitted:

  • Restricted parking areas:

  • Delivery area

  • Kiss-and-Ride zone

  • Truck parking zone 🚛

  • (School) bus parking zone 🚌

  • Taxi parking zone

  • Market zone

  • Private garage/private alley

🚫 Parking ban rules:

  • Temporary signs (e.g. for roadworks, around schools or on market days):
If a ban starts within 48h after you parked and a fine is issued, you’re responsible.
Even after 48 hours, any fines (and towing fees) are your responsibility if the car hasn’t been moved.

  • Permanent parking bans (fixed signs):
These are always active. Even fines after 48h are your responsibility as long as the car stays parked there.

👉 Poppy isn’t liable for for moving wrongly parked vehicles. We also can’t guarantee another user will move the car within 48 hours.

Special parking considerations:

  • Zones requiring a blue parking card (only if you can provide one yourself).

  • No underground or private parkings (except designated partner parkings, visible in the app).

  • Parking Brussels: blue zones in Berchem-Sainte-Agathe, from Monday to Saturday, from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM (a parking disc is required for everyone, including residents):

    • Place Schweitzer, including the public parking at the corner of Chaussée de Gand and Rue Openveld.

    • Avenue Josse Goffin, house numbers 1 to 9.

    • Public parking of the town hall, between Avenue du Roi Albert no. 33 and 47.

⚠️ Important information:

  • No underground/private parkings (connectivity and access issues).

  • Additional charges will be applied if these rules are not followed.
