First, a note on terminology: what we call a "slot" at the SWT is not a time-based booking. It is a pre-registration of trip information required by German Ports. There is no fixed time commitment, so you will not be turned away because of the time that you arrive.
To create a slot:
Open the app and tap Slots at the bottom.
1. Select C. Steinweg (SWT) as your terminal.
2. Tap Options → Book New Slot.
3. Enter the required information:
a.Direction of transport (Terminal IN or OUT)
b.License plate
c.Haulage company
d.Container number or tour plan (one of the two is sufficient)
4. Review the summary and tap Request Slot to confirm.
5. Your slot will initially show as Requested. As soon as you check in at the terminal, it automatically changes to Confirmed. There is no approval step from the terminal side as the status update happens automatically.
