URocked ensures that merchants are 100% legally compliant with the incoming Tipping Act laws in the United Kingdom, which ensure staff receive all of the tips they have earned. The measures are expected to come into force on 1st October 2024.
The additional USP for the Irish market, in addition to the universal USPs, is as follows:
URocked ensures that merchants are 100% legally compliant with The Payment of Wages (Tips and Gratuities) Act 2022, which includes a legal entitlement for workers to receive electronic tips and gratuities, prohibits employers from using tips to make up contractual rates of pay and introduced a range of other measures to increase transparency around distribution of tips. It is important to note that all staff must receive their tips within 10 days of the tip being made: and that every staff member within a venue, including kitchen and cleaning staff, are expected to receive a share of tips.
