💡Task Status Definitions
To Do:
Default status when a task is first assigned. No action has been taken yet.
In Progress:
Indicates that you have started working on the task. This helps keep your evaluator informed.
Claim as Fixed:
For Findings: You've completed the remediation and want the system to retest. If the test confirms the issue is resolved, the task will automatically update to Done, and the finding will be removed.
For Questionnaire Items: You’ve submitted a new answer that now needs to be reviewed by the evaluator.
Decline:
You’ve chosen not to remediate the task. Additional context is required to explain the reason for declining.
🔸 This does not automatically open a dispute. To initiate a dispute, navigate to the Findings tab and select the relevant finding (a shortcut link is also available from the remediation task view).
Cyber Posture Impact & Prioritization
Tasks related to cyber posture findings display a Cyber Posture Impact score. This shows how many points were deducted from your cyber rating due to the issue. Use this score to prioritize which findings to address first—resolving high-impact tasks will most improve your overall rating.
Each finding-related task also includes:
Additional Information
Details about the nature of the issue.
Proposed Mitigations
Recommended steps to help you resolve the finding effectively.
Communicating with the Evaluator
If you have questions or need clarification, you can start a conversation directly within the task. Use the built-in comment section to communicate with the evaluator who assigned it.
By actively working on and completing remediation tasks, you not only improve your cyber posture score but also demonstrate your organization’s commitment to security and compliance.
