The Findings page provides a complete view of all open security findings identified by Panorays as part of an external cyber posture assessment. Findings are generated based on your company’s or your suppliers’ exposed digital footprint and highlight potential security risks.
🔍Accessing Findings
Company findings
To view findings related to your own organization:
Open the My Company menu from the right-hand navigation
Select Findings
Supplier findings
To view findings for a specific supplier:
Navigate to the supplier’s page and select the Findings tab
or
Click the Cyber Posture Rating widget on the supplier overview
Understanding the Findings list
Findings are automatically sorted by severity
You can filter and sort findings using the different parameters
To export findings, click the Export (CSV) icon in the top-right corner of the Findings page.
Viewing finding details
Clicking on a finding opens the Findings Panel, where you can review:
Current status
Proposed mitigation
Finding history
Related assets, CVEs, and technologies
📋Notes for internal collaboration
Use the Notes tab to add comments for internal communication only. Notes are visible to your internal colleagues but are not shared externally.
Full test list view
To view the entire list of security tests run by Panorays—including tests where no findings were detected—enable the Full test list toggle.
⚡Actions you can take on findings
When reviewing your company’s findings, you can take the following actions directly from the Findings Panel:
Claim a finding as fixed
Use this option if the issue has already been remediated.
How it works:
Go to My Company → Findings
Locate the relevant finding (search or filter if needed)
In the side panel, select Claim as fixed
A targeted reassessment for that test is triggered automatically
If approved, the results will be updated in your account and visible to your customers.
Dispute a finding
If a finding is incorrect, irrelevant, or no longer applicable, you can submit a dispute:
In the side panel, select Dispute Finding
Provide a short explanation
The request is reviewed by the Panorays Cyber Posture Analyst team.
If rejected, the reason will be visible when hovering over the status icon.
Dispute an asset
If a finding is tied to an incorrect or irrelevant asset, you can Dispute Asset directly from the finding.
Tracking disputes
At any time, you can filter findings by dispute status to track:
Open disputes
Approved claims
Rejected claims
